But that means I have a goal. It doesn't mean I make a post that says "I'M THE FASTEST ON F1'S"

See the difference??

I have no issues with people who have goals for themselves I think that's awesome. But right now the only person in my mind who should be making any "fastest" proclamations is Johnny.

And I'm not even a JLP customer.
He's the QUICKEST not the FASTEST.

See, what I mean.

When speaking about fastest I think it's a general consensus that 99.9% of us are talking about 1/4 mile.

As far as I'm concerned if you trap faster than him, you still aren't faster. He still has the faster ET, you just have MPH, which to me doesn't mean jack schitt except you can't put your power to the ground as well as someone else.

Fastest / quickest/redest/blackest/most desperate for attention.

What's the problem with it? Not all of us have a buisness behind us and small as they are they are our accomplishments.

Exactly.

Flame away all you would like, but when you can run just as fast or even faster then a lot of the guys with fully built long blocks on a fully stock motor, that is something worth posting about and something to be PROUD about. It is ok with me if you don't agree and I will still sleep tonight, but my opinion will always be the same. I do feel the same as you on many of the other "catergories" though. But I will always be impressed by some of these ET's coming out of Stock Long Blocks. -Mat-

I'm not flaming anyone, I just think it's getting a little out of hand.

Just because I don't think we need people claiming to be the fastest in a category, doesn't mean that going 11.4 on a stock longblock isn't impressive....if that makes sense.

I guess all I'm saying is that people feel the need to make a category for themselves instead of just setting goals and making accomplishments.

I have a few goals for myself but that doesn't mean I'm gonna claim being the fastest for my goals....I dunno....
