Here's a pick.

I ran 8.1's with this a chip and a 4# in the 8th.
It's not as pretty but it works, turn it over (filter facing down) and it will still look stock.

Spend your $$ on chip and\or pulley.

BTW: The CAI was the last mod I did. I got the JLP box, great product, well made and looks good. Not a noticable difference at the track though.

[B]I did the Home Depot ram air mod and still have it on. I cut two holes using a hole saw then bought two wet vac hoses from Home Depot along with a vac head using it as my air scoop. Run the hoses from the box to the bottom of the bumper where the scoop is attached. I attached a piece of window screen mesh between the hose and scoop to catch any road debris. I currently run two hoses and two scoops although this photo shows one.

Bert.

Redlightn 02, I think that was some good stuff you did.

If you cut the bottom out to expose the air filter to engine heat then it's not considered a cold air intake at that point. Ramming fresh cooler air from the front with two hoses is much better and the box is constantly been pressurized on the highway. BTW I'll soon be venting the engine compartment trying to keep the supercharger cool by making this ram air scoop functional.
