My tranny and chip are set for 5650 rpm for the 1-2 shift and 5850 for the 2-3 shift so that the motor sees ~6000 rpm at time of each shift. All has been well until last two trips to the track.
The 1-2 shift is occurring at ~5200 rpm and the 2-3 t ~5000. Other wise the tranny is doing well on the street and temp is typically 120F - 150 F.

I have re-checked chip, tried another chip, suspect trouble is with the tranny. Any insight from some of or tranny pros is appreciated.

 

How do you know what RPM it is shifting @ ? If you are using the stock tach I doubt it is correct
If you are using something else then I dont know maybe a little slipping before shifts
