decisions, decisions

Well today I applied for a credit card and to my luck I got approved for $5000. Im not going to use it all on the L, just about $3000. I cant decide on what to get. I was thinking of droping down to a 6# lower and add a 75hp shot, or getting a KB, 15-16#s of boost with a nice race tune. What do you guys think?

Since you asked, cut up the credit card and cancel your account. It makes no sense to rack up credit for a project. Sorry to be blunt. Merry Christmas:santa:

Rewind, use your brain, and read what I wrote.

Hopefully you won't need more credit later when you add that much boost or juice to a stock block.

Good advice....

That 5k will cost you 12k after you get it paid off.

Credit cards are the devil's work.

Let me see you got some excellent advice there. It may not be what you wanted to hear, but it was good advice. You asked what people thought. You didn't specify what they thought of only the mods you were considering.

Anytime you add mods you run the risk of breaking something so what will you do when you've spent $3000 on that card and need a new motor because you ran too much boost and has a hole in your block.

$3000 in mods is going to end up costing you a lot more if you put it on your credit card and make a minimum payment until it is paid off. The total amount all depends on the interest rate, but since this seems to be your first card it is likely very high. Those mods might cost you $6000 in the end once you've paid them off.
