your best bet is a F-150 body from HPI for their Super RS4

Here is mine. I think it is the same body. My Drag truck is made by New Era models. I think it is the same HPI body though. it is 1/8 scale.

this puppy will go about 70mph. (though I think it would only do it once.) my driving skills aren't that good yet.
I got it to barrel roll 5 times at like 15mph LOL not too much damage though.

Wow, that drag truck is extremely cool.

I've got a 1/8 scale 4x4 nitro buggy but I've been thinking about selling it and using the money towards a Revo.

Do people really set these up for drag and run them (please say yes) or did you just do yours like that for the look? Again, nice work, looks great.

Well, I am new to the R/C thing. I haven't found a big enough NEW parking lot to run the drag truck . There can't be any rocks or cracks in the pavement with the skinnies I have on the front. the 1/8 scale 1/4 mile is 168 ft. so you need that plus another 150 ft. to stop. it has anti lock brakes so the slicks wear even. you need it to be like, well, as wide as possible because they don't do well hitting a curb at heavy throttle.
I also picked up a XTM Mammoth 4wd monster truck after I got this drag truck. There aren't any sanctioned races near me.

I am also into the R/C thing and have four vehicles. I got a Revo, MGT, MT2, and a Fusion 21. The revo is alot of fun and if you guys are looking to get one, its a great investment. My fusion does 80 out of the box and i now have an upgraded motor in it which makes it closer to 90. It is extremely fast, a little too fast.

383SVT, how do you like your mammoth, i havnt heard too good of things about any xtm product?

the mammoth is a blast. Just like any R/C they don't do well hitting stationary objects at high speeds. but it has awesome acceleration for 4wd. I have never driven another nitro monster truck so I can't compare it.

Thanks for the input guys
I havent even use it yet. I need to bring it to work to break it in cause if I am home I'll just break it..
If anyone gets a revo I would suggest breaking it in the way they say too thats what I was told be everyone..
The only bad part is is gonna take like 3 hrs....but I guess its better than toasting the motor
Hey another quik ? what to you guys use to water proof the electronics I heard theses thing dont like to get wet at all I really wanted to ripp this thing up in the snow
Thanks again
