Warranty Evaporated along with piston

I was at PMF the other day and some unfortunate bastid
with a 1500 mile '03 "L" had blown up his engine running
the pulley tunes on the Predator. The adjuster took one
look at the air kit, exhaust, and the pulley and rejected
the whole claim.

Shame, Shame ...

"Ya wanna play, ya gotta pay" ...

I recall when people couldn't wait to have the predator released. They need to come with a disclaimer that using the stock predator will blow up your engine.

I don't know how many times I've told people that you have a $30,000 truck, don't be cheap and get a dyno tune.

Trucks might be the same off the line, and the same mods, but they will have completely different tunes.

(Heck I recall Suavy quoting a tuner "there is no way your truck is flowing that much air")

When I upgraded my truck (to a 6#) I had Sal reburn my chip via mail. I went to the dyno and had the a/f checked, and it was very close, but not perfect.
So I went out to PSP to have it dyno tuned.

There is a reason I drove 2 days to PSP to have the truck spend an hour or two on the dyno.

EVERY TRUCK IS DIFFERENT.
I cringe when I see someone buy a chip or tuner in the classifieds and people ask if they can just plug it into their truck and go. They are only asking for trouble.
