Week Long Engine build

well i've been working on the engine for a while now, takin my time...(in the six month) thought i'd start putting it together. its a JDM short block....just thought i'd post pics...i will post them throughout the week as i keep adding on...almost everything is painted, powder coated, or polished....please leave some opinions and comments maybe u'll have better ideas than me...

didn't get to work on engine this week, sorry for the crappy digital camera pics. i had to use my old school camera.

yea, i was goin to upgrade the water pump but i've spend so much lately on everything i decided to get rid of the black paint off of the pulley and keep the stocker for now....

LOL, its a JLP 8#, i thought it looked quite large too, its huge even next to my 6lb..

looks good .... do something else with the cam covers . Make some custom lightning emblems out of polished aluminum that will go the length of the cover or something like that...

Very nice i was thinking of doing some color on my motor when i reassemble it but cant decide what color to use. the truck is white but im not putting white on the motor.

i will be posting more pics in a few days, i have some paint schemes on a few pieces that should add alot....(example: the plastic gaurds that cover the coilpack/fuel injector wiring) and the blower is gettin a nice paint job as well, i'm just moving slow do to school DAMN FINALS
