The truck that I am testing the MP on locally, I am almost 100% sure it has stock heads and cams.

Arrow You guys are "The Goods"

Very interesting and informative thread. It is great to see JLP and PSP becoming involved in the Magnum Powers Program. This can only be a positive influence.

Thanks to all.

Fred

Ya know, I was told the MP comes with a 2.7 upper on it. Is this not true? Time for someone to break out a micrometer.

TRUE

The 2.7 is the standard pulley.

The 2.9 is the optional pulley that is sometimes used as a "Street Pulley" or a "Cold Weather" pulley.

Mines sitting in the garage with a bad convertor and head gasket.
Going for a test ride in a new Stang saturday. Ford sent me a $50 BP gas card if I test drive a new Ford. Just got to get the dealer to sign it and mail it in. Can only hope, they don't make me an offer I can't refuse
