Lightning Driveshaft Question

I am installing a 99 Lightning Motor, Tranny, and rear end into a 99 F-150 Supercab and wanted to know if I need a custom made driveshaft, as the one from the lighting will be short. Will the driveshaft from a 99 Harley supercab f-150 work and also handle the extra power from the lightning? I appreciate the help, thanks.

Well, one version of the Harley did have a de-tuned Lightning engine in it, although I don't think it was the '99. 340hp from the factory. I'm sure many have put that back up to around 400 or even more with tuning. Post this in the Harley section and see what they say.
