Alignment problem?

I just rotated my tires a couple of weeks ago and the inside of both fronts are worn and slightly wavy. I had the washer fix done at a Ford dealership a few years ago. Could this be the problem or is it just a simple alignment. The truck is away for the winter right now (I do live in Wyoming, so it snows constantly) so it's no big deal, but I would like to get it fixed fairly soon. Thanks for the help.

The washer fit is only on one side.

Sounds to me like you have a bad combination of camber/caster/toe. Do the tops of the front wheels noticeably slant inwards?

"Wear on one side. With this type of wear, the inside of the tread shows more wear than the outside, or vice versa. Poor alignment, worn ball joints, or other worn or bent suspension parts might be the cause. Bring your car in for a proper alignment and an inspection of your suspension components.

Feathering. Feathering means that each tread rib looks worn in one direction, such that one side is rounded while the other side is pointed, looking almost smeared outward. Sustained high-speed driving can sometimes cause feathering, although consistent feathering most often reveals an improper toe-in alignment setting. Again, take your car in and have the alignment checked by a specialist.

Cupping. Rounded, scalloped dips near one edge of the tread indicate severely worn suspension components. Go to your mechanic and have the suspension inspected immediately."

Alignment

Here's an Camber alignment problem I had to get fixed last week:

This was on my front right tire and this is the second tire that went flat due to this rubbing.

All the mechanic told me the camber was way off, I wanted to ask more but he was busy.

I hate to pitch the tire, cause look at all the good tread that is left!

If yours looks like mine then get a $75 4-wheel alignment. It is cheaper than buying two tires!

Thanks for the replies. And thanks for the pic Missouri03L. Both of my tires look just like that. Guess I will be taking a trip to an alignment shop.

If you find someplace that can do a 4-wheel alignment on our trucks, please let me know.
