fog light help

for an 00L... I did a search and found a couple things, but what is everyone here doing.... Right now my passenger side lens is completely gone, but the light still works... Can I just replace the lens and if so, how much of a pain in the **** is that. Also are there any clear style that people are having success with. Give me some ideas here.

Cool

I don't know if this will help you or not, but I have an entire foglamp assembly from an '04 that I'd be willing to send you.

I guess we need to know if the lights themselves are the same between the 2 years.

Let me know...

01-04 fog lights will not work since they are held in by the bumper cover an the 99-00 L has the foglight held in by a bracket.

The lens is replaceable and there are clear versions available. It is the same foglight assembly used in the 87-93 Mustang GT.

Here is a link to one of the vendors I use for my Cobra:

Late Model Restoration

I have seen the clear foglight lenses before. Just do a search for Mustang foglights and you should be able to find them.

This is probably the most popular place to get these lenses. $17.95 for each lens I think. First go to the 79-04 catalog. On the search go to: (Search By) Item Description, then Exterior Items, then Exterior Lighting, year 1993, and search criteria "fog light lenses" and you should see them. These are correct for the 99-00. Hope this helps.

Anyone know of a way to rig the 03 fog lights to where you have to do more than push in 2 buttons and pop them out? Mine just got jacked sitting in the damn college parking lot!
