Two days after Thanksgiving, I woke up to find my back window covered with egg. If I ever see anyone doing that to my truck again, I plan on trying to insert and egg in there azz without breaking the shell. You will probably see me on the news!

Another good reason invest in a garage and a daily driver.

Sorry about your truck

Seriously, it _is_ all about envy.

well.... envy mixed with someone who failed to learn or accept morality.

mean-spirited hateful people..... usually very dumb. They are useless contributions to our society that will never go away.

Typical jealousy from losers. I had one throw a whole cup of coffee WITH CREAM on one of my cars at 75mph while in front of me. No comment on the punishment.

It's pretty amazing to hear of how many Lightning owners have experienced this.

I hosed it down last night, and whatever it was is gone. No eggshell marks, so I don't think it was egg.

I just wonder what really motivates these jealous vandals into doing this crap. I know of the typical reasons, but I'm wondering if it really makes them feel that they have "equalled" themselves somewhat by vandalizing s hit.

That poor guy that got a brick thrown through his window after just 10 hours of ownership. That's just simply incredible. If these scumbags want to see what damage a brick can do, why don't they do it on their own, parent's, relatives' or friend's vehicles?

Happens to those also...

Pumpkin & glass throughout the entire truck (even on the dash). Please people don't let your pumpkins sit too long after Halloween next year.

It's pretty bad in Italy too. The Italians have a different kind of mentality. For instance, in the states, it's pretty much common knowledge if you're gonna check out someone's truck, you do so without touching it. Not here. These jokers will touch all over you ****, lean on it, etc. I came out of work one day, and this cat was leaned up on my truck with his buddy taking his picture. WTF?? Now, I admit, I kind of like the admiration the truck receives, but it got to the point where I would park right outside my office window. So, now when I look out there and catch them, I press my panic button and scare the **** out of them.

But what really sucked, is one day, I was driving off the base, and the Carabinieri stopped me. I thought it was because I was playing my music too loud, when in fact, they just wanted to check out the truck. Well, I roll the window down and start chatting them up while they are looking it over and asking questions. (They're big on what we pay) So, after we're through, I drive on home. Get to my house and notice all these scratches on the driver's side door. It seems, while they were looking it over, the zippers from their coats were ****ing up my paint! A few buffed out, but many are still there. I actually wasn't too mad because I planned on repainting it once I return from Afghanistan anyway. Oh well.

Sorry this got so long, but while I'm at it. Anyone got a good idea for a paint scheme for this hood? I like the racing stripes like LightningToGo, but the curves on my hood might not allow them. Gonna keep the rest of the truck True Blue. Whew....thanks.

For the couple weeks I owned my L before I was rear-ended I got keyed atleast 3 times. There is a big X on my passenger door that I doubt will buff out, but I don't know since I don't know how to buff it out.

Anyway, yes these people need to get caught in the act. Just once, Lord, let us catch one of these kids.

I feel for you Blown347Hatch. Iv'e had 2 Lightnings and both were vandalized repeatedly at local convienence stores...parked in front were I could watch it and someone would slosh
a hot cup of coffee on the drivers door when I wasn't looking. Last year at a football tailgate party some drunk pissed on my all shined up tires and wheels. The thing is you just can't
let these trucks (or any nice vehicle) out of your sight for 15 seconds...there are people in this world who have no concern for others at all...so you have to be hyper alert all the time...
sometime you wonder if it's worth the hassel...my Lightning is a plane jane...these trucks just
look more expensive than they are and someone out there is waiting to deface it...I wish birth control
on the spot was legal.

I'm with Whip on this one.

I had a woman hit my old beater truck with not only her shopping cart but she also slammed her door into me. She then left the door open and went to the other side of her car..... So I closed the door for her.

when I had my '01 camaro I had someone **** on it at school at Baylor... aren't these kids all religious? WWJD??? lol

it was a beauty and I guess someone was jealous.

funny story though... I spent the better part of the day cleaning it and zainoing it and I got back to my dorm, parked it out front, and went to get some tire cleaner. when I came back about 20 miuntes later there was spots all over it. I was like "WTF... I just cleaned it!!!" so I swipe my finger across it and sniff it.....

yep... ****

For ignorant acts like that, murder should be legalized
If that was the case, everyone would be dead. This is why I highly recommend a daily beater.
