Question 99-00 fogs to 01-04 fogs?

Hello everyone,

A 99-00 Lightning bumper cover has different foglights than the 01-04 bumper cover... Does ford offer anysort of bracket to allow the 01-04 L foglamps to fit in the 99-00? the 99-00 bumper cover just has big holes where each light goes, while the 01-04 bumper cover has a bracket basically for the 01-04 foglamps to just snap right in the cover. But i dont like the 99-00 foglamps because they are not crystal clears like the 01-04.. and Im NOT going aftermarket. Thanks!

they crack from them being on/hot, and then rain hitting them.

I have an 01 that had the fogs replaced with 03(?) without the bulb cover inside.

I got my truck used with cracked lens, had them replaced under the bumper to bumper warranty, it had the stock bulbs. When the new bulds went out, I replaced them with some that have a light blue tint to them (you can't see the blue unless you pull up to something white). I don't know the brand, WalMart had them on sale when I got them.

I run them all the time, rain, snow, sun, that was a year ago and no problems.

My stockers did not crack through 4 years of regular use. Within 3 days of putting in silverstars my driver side cracked. Food for thought.

my stockers havent cracked yet either, but they did fall off while i was driving! Surprisingly they did not break, though they are made of a thick piece of glass. I just glued them back on hehe.
