what do you think I'll run? No changes since my last time at the track in early spring, except for new Toyo Proxes ST's at 295/40/20. I doubt it'll be any quicker, since the Toyo's aren't supposed to be great for the drags, especially on 20's. Although, the time in my sig was with 20" Pirelli Scorpions. Mods are in my sig......

By the way, I'm moving from Tampa to Southwest Virginia in early January 05', how many L owners on this board are from there????

 

I dont like the Toyos...my buddy had them and I couldnt hook up for schit...Im just used to the F1s maybe though. Is thursday that "street" racing deal they sometimes do? I call it the fast and furious night because of all the hs kids and their imports

 

No, its the test and tune night at Bradenton. The street racing night they have there is held once a month on Friday's and its called Club 1320! Pretty stupid name!! And your right, alot of ricers are there, but I like watching them run as some of them are pretty quick. The few times I've been there, there have been a few of the AWD Lancers and STI's out there and its cool to see them leave off the line. That's also where I saw an SRT Ram brand new off the lot run mid 14's and laughed and laughed.

 

oh yeah...I guess it was a Friday when I went...it was the first time I had gone to the track about 2 years ago...it was fun, I dont mind the rice... they usually know their place I didnt see any fast ones when I went... but there were a few other domestics tearing it up

what was the temp last time? like 85 or something?

 

Last time I was there, in March of this year, the temp was around 55 to 60. Thursday is supposed to be around 70 or so and falling at night.
