I'm starting to have my first problems -- I think. When I lose traction in the rear (stock engine, sticky tires, so it doesn't happen often), the back now wants to crawl sideways. I have not determined the cause, but I am starting to suspect the LSD clutches.

Has anyone had any luck with this as a warranty claim?

The rear end in our truck is a POS for the track (road course). I wish we had something better that was not thousands of dollars. Mine spins the right rear in a right turn more than the left on a left turn.....at least that's what it feels like. I don't know why there would be a difference. I woild think it would be the same or worse on the left tire since more turns on the tracks I run are left turns. No forward bite and throttle induced oversteer is why I am considering a car for my next project. I still like the Dodge Magnum......Did I just say I like a Dodge??????

As I described earlier my pinion bearings were totally shot to the point of being dangerous.

I took it to the Ford dealer and they essentially replaced everything including the clutches. I told them to inspect the front end also and to get those awful tied rods changed to the new design (accident waiting to happen). The boots on the tie rods and calipers were damaged so they changed them both. Lots of heat happening there.

All under warranty but this was my first warranty claim ever since I got the truck. So I'm happy and looking forward to next season. Now, off it goes into storage.
