Hello everyone, new to the board but have been reading for years. Now that Ford postponed the L until at least 2008, its time for me to get my dream machine. Does anyone know of any good dealers in Southern California that have 04 L's in stock? I am worried that the techs might be taking them out for tire smoking and hurt my Dream Machine. Any help would be appreciated.

You can go to Ford's website and check dealer's inventory.

Last time I went by (however this was 3 weeks ago) Beverly Hlls Ford had a Sonic Blue.

 

kobiashi is giving some solid advice here. I went to the site, found all black Lightnings within 100 miles, then called each dealer and told them that they had one chance and once chance only to give me their best price.

Many would not give me a price over the phone. Dial tone.

Disregarding my clear instructions, many told me to call me back after I got my best price elsewhere. Dial tone.

In an afternoon, I made the deal (over the phone). Next day, I drove up, handed them a cashier's check, and went home.
