Well I know a guy that went to Atlantic City in a $45,000 Lincoln and came home in a $125,000 Greyhound bus

They are running some type of slick, because I raced a SRT-10 at HRP with I think it was an ET slick or maybe Street.

Ok, here goes…

If it cost him $25k plus (on top of what $45k truck price, total of $70k) to get into the 10’s how much more will it cost him so he can tow a 5,000lb trailer like a REAL truck?

I am trying to see where you get 25K from.............I am sure that they have close to if not a 100K in that truck easy . Counting the cost of the truck...........Look at the price of the kit alone..........not including the extras they have not put the prices to yet.........but if you have the money.......spend it .

The truck was 45k (at least) the twin turbo kit lists for 42k on Hennessey's site...

Easy 100k in that truck.

Hey, if you got the dough, have fun with it!

May be looking to tighten up the waste gate or spray a little or have a reason for losing or scare you into not to showing. Maybe he will miss a gear or spin the tires. That's the fun of racing, not knowing who will win. Then again Mike, your numbers are well know, his are not. Ya'll have any money on the race?

I would like to come, but will be out of town with ears to the grapevine.

Thanks. We ran a 28 in. tall Hoosier Sportsman Pro tire on a 16 in. rim. This tire is too short and we will be testing a 30 in. tall tire next. Should be just right. We do plan to offer a package of drag wheels/tires and rear brake mods soon. We just want to test this package before we release it. Running sticky tires will also require a clutch and slave cylinder upgrade as well. More details on all that later.

No I have not bet on the race........I was going to the track anyways and figured it would be fun, but the owner from Florida is talking crap now. Well however they play it, they will have to bring a lot to the table to win........and I will still have 50K in the pocket ha ha ha ha a I have to check on the weather at HRP for Friday.........hope it is nice and cool. I will leaving Waco, heading that way it takes like 4 hours to get there, relax, have a cup of coffee, then race, Fridays for wing and a beer, then back home..................got to love it.
