Now if I posted this in this forum about an srt-10, we'd have 10 pages of complaining.

Oh well...
And if *I* posted it, it would be moved in a heartbeat ...
But what do expect from around here ????

John, glad to see that you got a SRT in the 10s, but since you are right here in Houston, why don't we run out to HRP real quick and see how it does. If you got to ship it to Florida, we can run Friday and that way you can back up your 10 sec pass. Just a thought, not trying to call you out, just in case you wanted to run it, I thought alittle comp. never hurts.

I am truly glad to see they got at least "1" SRT-10 running 10's now, the faster they go the more it can only HELP us, and our quest for Ford to wake BACK UP and loose the 100K Soccer Mom's Toy's, and GET BACK ON TARGET.

For total Price of Vehicle's + Mods, the L will always be THE KING, (MUCH Cheaper to do), AND A HELL OF A LOT NICER LOOKING

nice

Good Job getting that thing in the 10's.

But lets face it. Chances are you could get our trucks in the 10's for half the cost of they did.

But then again, their are vehicles that could get in the 10's for half the cost we did.

Either way you look it at........that's alot of weight to get moving into the 10 second range so you have to figure it's gonna cost more.

Keep this **** comming. Maybe ford will get motivated.

the owner (craig) of the truck can go pretty fast, or something
his bio from srt10.com

I'm 33 years old. I sold one of my companies for $15 Million approx 4 years ago. I agressively purchased small ISP's and web hosting companies. Recently as in 14 months ago, sold my ISP for $290 Million, 50% cash, 50% stock options. Tax on the $145 million was approx $50.7 Million.

Yeah, big deal. I once turned $1,000,000 in realestate into $25 in cash.

I am surprised that he didn't run off with cash, but actually built the truck.
I would never send anything to him, or even let me near any of my vehicles. That guy is a crook.

My knowledge of Hennessey is that he was young, making good money, and working on very nice cars back in the day. He got involved in drugs and got himself into a few problems as we all know. I was told that his current situation is much more professional and different than what it used to be. Plus he is still one of the best at tuning Dodge vehicles.

If you think those prices are ridiculous, what do you think about the Saleen and Roush stuff? $55,000 for a Roush that barely holds its own with a $32,000 03+ Cobra....

Someone may want to edit their post... think defamation.

That Craig guys has about 4-5 of those srt-10's truck.
The owner of the truck lives in Florida, hopefully some of our lightnings can show him at the track what a fast truck is.

(doubting the owner can drive it to 10 seconds... especially since there are no SLICKS available for it yet)

What impresses me:
1. With a street tire (no slicks available yet)
2. NO TRACTION BARS.

the tires are:

Thanks. We ran a 28 in. tall Hoosier Sportsman Pro tire on a 16 in. rim. This tire is too short and we will be testing a 30 in. tall tire next. Should be just right. We do plan to offer a package of drag wheels/tires and rear brake mods soon. We just want to test this package before we release it. Running sticky tires will also require a clutch and slave cylinder upgrade as well. More details on all that later.
