I will probably just go with the 2 ton (4,000 lbs) Sears aluminum jack. Thanks for helping me to decide!

Why not just go with the Craftsman jack.......

That's basically the same jack ... They're all made in China.
$70 is a lot foir a magnetic tray and an extra handle IMHO.
And Sears has no lifetime guarantee on much anymore ...
Just basic tools like wrenches and sockets and such. The
cheaper stuff has NONE ... and NOW we can just wait for
the BLUE LIGHT SPECIALS < grin>

Joe, I think the racing is designated because of the weight.
I love mine ... it can be lowered slowly just like most others.
and luggin 37 pounds to the track is a lot easier than 70
that black and yellow one weighs...

Crazyone had one of the Sears yellow jacket ones and
we cursed it everytime we used it ...

TampaBlack ... That LOOKS like it is "taller" in the front than
the Harbor Freight ... I can BARELY get the Harbor Freight
one under my lowered truck when I have the race tires on ...
so you might look at that spec.

Harbor Freight = 3 1/2"
Sears = 3 3/4"

Not much but it would kill me ....

A normal 3 ton jack JUST fits under my front bumper now. It's a bitch to jack.

Excellent jack I have one and used it a few times. Works great especially how it raises right up quick. It hasn't taken me more then maybe 5 - 10 pumps to get the wheels off the ground.
