Nitto 404 winter tires???

hey guys and galls. If your like me your getting nervous with winter coming around and you still have to drive your lightning in the snow. Well i wasnt for swapping rims and tires so i was looking around to try to find a needle in the hay stack by trying to find a rated winter tire on stock 18 inch rims. Well i found that needle when i looked on Discount tire and found the Nitto 404 style. It is v rated and believe it or not it is Mud and SNOW rated. The size that closest fits the stock goodyears is 285/50r/18. I hope your sitting down for the next part. Lets just say the goodyears are 215 a tire these bad boys that are all weather around and v rated are going for $127.00 a tire. thats right for 500 bucks i have deep thread, snow safe, speed up to 150mph and can hold 5000 punds in weight. How bout that for a 18 inch 127 dollar tire.

But serious if I need winter tires, those sound awsome.

I was thinking of jus switching tires, too, and keeping the rims. I was wondering, though, do you think the salt up here would damage the rims or eat away at the clearcoat over them?
