Finnally got the 03 Dyno tuned.

Well I finnally got the 03 on a dyno tuned and it made the 400/500 club just like my 01 Lightning.

RWTD tuned the truck for me today on the dyno in Mobile, Al.

The A/F was perfect BTW.

Anyways the mod list is as follows:

6lb lower (9"inch) 14.5 psi or so
rem intake
tr6's
metco 100mm idlers
gatorback belt
FTVB / deep pan
Dynatech long tubes with cats
Magnaflow catback
Lowered (FRPP) with 01 leafs.
FJO wideband
Defi boost, FP, and water temp gauges.

The truck is tuned with 16 degrees of timing and A/F on the dyno was around 11.9 - 12.0 through the entire run.

Peak HP @ 402.2 (4700rpm)
Peak TRQ @ 509.2 (3100rpm)

Im happy with the truck but I am unsure of the next mods, Its my daily driver and dont want to have to drive the back up car if i blow it up so will see.

Umm, is it me, or do those numbers seem low for your mods. 6lb lower, full exhaust, intake. I would think that your numbers would be higher on a 03. Maybe its just me.

It makes just what my 01 did give or take a few with similar mods. The numbers are SAE but the air was total crap today.

We are going to retune it once I decide what my next step will be.

Nice numbers w/ a safe tune. I would like to see the numbers w/ out the headers. For your next mod I recommend an E-fan. Do you have a raceday tune of 18-20 degrees for running race fuel?

Wes; what's done to the new ride. Looks sharp

Bob's #'s look right on for a safe low timing tune.

casey, i got to keep everything from the other truck. this has a silver bullet cat back, and a 6lb lower. thats the only differences. the black one pulled off a 7.57 at mobile so maybe once i get some track tires, i will see what this ones got.
