That is alot of sites you belong to. I wouldn't have come on and said some of that stuff you said being new. But you said it, and see the result. Well, I am at a loss for words. I remember the good ole days of me being a F.N.G. I got no respect, and people rolled their eyes at almost every post I made. Now though, I get no respect and people roll their eyes at EVERY psot I make. Oh well, you have some nice numbers for your truck. Welcome aboard and BITE ME

Wow ...

"There's entirely too much Keyboard
Racing going on around in heah ..."

While everyone was once a newb, it is pretty
much true that we are tough on first time posters.
Especially when they speak to what is one of our
most endearing challenges. (NO ... Not the toleration
of Tim!!!)

Family is important ... and we are a big ole family. We
have some "cousins" that we would probably NOT
choose as members, but their love for our favorite
vehicle overcomes the small prejudices that most
all of us have. Be they Redneck, Pornstar, Egotistical
Jelly Doughnut Makers, or pontificating arseholes, they
are still family.

And truth be owned, I would sit down with any of
them for a beer and most all of them would too.

And if you think THIS place is tough, you might wanna
avoid Corner-Carvers til you learn how NOT to pi$$
someone off.

G'day, Brother ...

Cliff

Is it possible to be a member of two groups at once?

True dat, boo. My ego is still recovering from my first post there.

But I love their model. Read the FAQs, lurk, and learn before you speak -- or get flamed at best, banned at worst. As a result, the signal-to-noise ratio at C-C is about the highest I've seen. And the intelligence level there is through the roof. Zero Hicktard Tolerance policy. The C-C model just plain works.

One certainly has the right to voice an opinion on the first post, last post, or anywhere in between.

But to march into a well-established group and start telling people what to do is just plain stupid. Isn't the first reaction going to be, as easter so eloquently stated: "don't let the door hit you on the way out?"

BTW, 20"svt, you don't need to have a "10 second truck" to have your opinion respected (not that I am assuming respect, but my engine is still bone stock). You just need some reason for people to respect it. A history of informative, thought provoking, and/or entertaining posts here helps.
well i took what you said earleir as either i needed a 10 sec truck to gain respect or a needed to be a vendor and have people love me to think something of what i have to say. now i see it was my second opinion of what you had to say to me earlier tim.

theres only a few select vendors for the L, so granted they get their respect from their customers... but dont discredit someone because they dont fall into your category. sorry im not known to the world tim or have some great reasoning for people to know of me.

as far as thought provoking... the pms are a good idea when you flat out have a grudge for someone and it doesnt seem necesary(spelling) to put it in a general post for everyone to see how stupid one individual can act sometimes.

ohh yeah, thanks goat... see you guys in a couple weeks

i see it as some guys talk through themselves and others talk **** from behind the steering wheel and dont know when to shut up about something just cause they feel they are superman cause they have a fast *** truck.

i wont say any names cause then i would be calling out people. im just here to state the fact of how sad it is to read the 12 year old girl bickering going on here. you guys should really keep the argues through PMs.... i allready cant stand a few people that im sure might be good guys.
