Thanks to the TUNERS and other GURUS who have taken their time to help so many … thanks to all that have helped with their advice (how to – where to – what works - etc) Thanks to those that have sheared mods and pictures with us, the good and the bad (i.e.: bad ROB in the 70s). Congratulations to those who have taken one of Ford’s best engineered products and made it even better; you are truly the SVT TEAM.

I agree. I'm new here and for a moment I worried if this was a site I wanted to stick around in with all of the "I'm the king" posts going around. It seems to be a seasonal thing, so hopefully we can all get back to making our trucks fastER without caring who's the fastEST. I know I could care less...

 

Stick around a little longer and you will realize that this is as good as it gets.

As soon as the recent pee pee measuring contests are over, we will descend back into the hell of lame-*ss "which cold air kit is best" and "help me decide on these wheels" posts.

There are ALOT of guys on here that know their stuff and have helped me out alot. I have learned tons searching for old posts and the great sites (like Tim's)

It's very easy to get caught up in a feeding frenzy here and lay the smackdown but remember that we are all brothers in arms and we are a small minority against all that think trucks aren't fast. After spending time on here I go to the real world and they don't even know what a Lightning is.

That's a huge reality check.

Here's to meeting more of you in person either racing against you or drinking beers with you.

Guys I just ran a 9.5. I am done racing for the season, so nobody can ask me to run again. I also lost the slip to prove it, but it doesn't matter. I win...until next year!



Just kiddin' of coarse! Ya, its mostly all good peeps around here, it just gets tense some time. The best thing is actually going to different tracks and events and taking to L owners. I would say 99% of them are GREAT people when you meet them in person!
