he ran another 9 yesterday BTW.

As for Tommy
Even know WE ALL KNOW what happen to Mat w/ Tommy's Motor,
I STILL LISTED HIM because he's a Vendor HERE, and that means he helps pay the bills HERE, which is why YOU + I can be HERE.
ANY Vendor can have a troubled Motor, or a series of nightmare events that took place with a Customer. Although I do feel Mat got frucked BIG TIME, I still must give Tommy the benefit of the doubt that he's learned from his mistakes. (I sure hope so)
BTW, he ran a 10 yesterday himself.

Tuner wars by customers are senseless. We are blessed with many good tuners who will work majic on these simple trucks.
Do your research, chose a tuner, but keep an open mind to new developements, and a healthy respect for your opponants and rival tuners.
There is still a lot of potential to be unlocked with our combinations and we can get there faster pooling the talent available.
I have not made a choice yet on a tuner shop as I have purchased parts from many, and have installed all myself so far.
I can say over the last two weeks I have seen very impressive machines from ,in alphabetical order, JDM JJ`s SVT, JLP, and PSP.
All our tuners have talent. You decide based on location, price, attitude, availibility, and anything else is important to you. Lets all push these beasts hard to find out what works and what does not. These boards are a great resource when info is flying around instead of bull*****.

Ct.TOPGUN (Jim),

I wish everyone on here shared your opinion.

Tuner wars are stupid!!!

I've bought mods from every tuner you mentioned above plus 7 you didn't mention. Some have different specialty mods that others don't and different prices on like mods. It's all been good for me dealing with all the vendors. Once in a while there will be a wait for parts that's out of the vendors control.

My trucks tuned by JDM but my upper and lower pulleys came from JLP. I've got my eye on a JLP powercooler right now. I just have to talk myself into coming off the hip.

I think some people are just haters no matter who tunes their truck.

Edit: I had to change the 3 vendors you didn't mention that I've bought from to 7.

LFP, RWTD, Troyer Performance, Chikenears, RUSLOW, REM & Outrageous Performance. Damn, I've spent a lot of money, LOL.

bacamino,

Were you boosting your octane for those temps?

I run a real aggressive tune at the track that needs no octane boost at 70 degrees or above. When it gets below 70, I boost the octane according to the temps. The colder it gets the more the octane is boosted. Nothing is guaranteed though. I know the same thing could happen to mine and that's the chance you take striving for a new personal best.

The pics that are posted at the link above indicate you have a remedy for the situation.

Sorry 04 that your so unhappy with JL.... Attacks like this one are really uncalled for, He and Sue are top shelf... Yes he is my tuner but I also have dealt with most of the well known tuners...

I hate everybody equally. Except for Sal who is the man!

(BTW no bias here, I have never bought anything from sal or used his tuning.)
