how do i get a 12.0?

mods in sig. best pass was 12.21 at 112.6. with 449 hp and 534 tq what do you guys think my times should be?? i just want to hit 12.0 but my launches arent helping me. i think ive been in the 1.7s twice. i tried many different ways and see people with my same setup going low 1.7s and even 1.6s. what could be hurting me?? my drop kit?? not enough torque?? the truck feels like it hooks well ive tried 18psi 16psi same thing over and over low 1.8s. would i possibly get closer by taking off my upper pulley?? could i be overspinning the blower?? any suggestions would help thank you!

stall converter is all you need. I run 12.03@111 with a 2600 stall. 1.66 60' I put down 448 whp.

agreed

Convertor should do the trick. You need 1.70 or better with your combo in your sixty foot to achieve what you are looking for.

My buddy Eluzion who posts on here is lookin for 11's. He ran a new best at JDM day of a 12.21. He's got almost 600 ftlbs to the rears but can't get to the 11's. He was looking to update his maf and injectors......it told him to go convertor and some practice and that should get him there.

1. Go on a nice cool day 50-60.
2. Pull your battery cable off for a little while.
3. Pump up your front tires to like 45psi or get skinnys.
4. Cool down truck for at least an hour.
5. Bring up stall to like 1600-1700 max and put it to the floor.

Good Luck

Zach

Battery Disconnect

Doing this resets your computer to it's best performance. Our computers have a tendency to learn possible bad driving habits, going slow etc. It basically freshens up your tune to what it was when it was first burned. I do it every time I go to the track.

Resetting the computer doesn't benefit you since it runs at a closed loop at WOT.

Our L's look up the A/F ratio and timing in a table at WOT.

That's not how closed loop works. But I agree with you, I doubt that unplugging the battery has anything to do with a "fresher tune".
