Fastest on a stock Converter?

Just wonder who has been the fastest on a stock converter?

Really looking for how much will a stock converter take? I know there are some 10 second stock trannys, but I believe most have had there converters changed.

After pulling a 7.370@93.35 1.66 60ft I am beginning to wonder how far you can take the stock converter. BTW; that is on a stock long block also

Casey,
Just curious to the mods you have. Those are some great times, and the 60 ft with the stock converter

Which track do you run at? I am planning to go to Bradenton next week.

I was running in the low 1.6 60ft with stock converter last year. best of a 1.62 and average 1.63. I was running 11.90's , stock longblock, stock exhaust manifolds, stock tranny, stock heaton, no spray. Pretty much just the usual bolt-ons and 28x10 slicks.

That seems really fast for just bolt ons. Was there anything else done to it?

and your sig says 11.51@117mph w/1.57 60ft. JLP tuned
what did you change from the 11.90 to the 11.51?

Judging by the 1/8th mile times, you need to get to a 1/4 mile track and bust off an 11.5X-11.7X! I have a slip here from my old stocker. 7.339@95.27 = 11.484@118.51 1.61 60ft. -Mat-
