Well i thought i had blown it up/it might be. I went to get supper tonight and i cranked it up. It made this rod knocking noise. I cut it off and inspected the truck over no smoke or weird colors in the oil on the dipstick. I took the blower belt off and cranked it up the sound goes completely away what could this be? a idler bearing going out?

 

you have a crank pulley right? check it to see if the bolts are still tight. did you spin the blower by hand? did it move freely?

 

ill check the crank pulley tomorow............ i just put the 4 on the other day but didnt use loctite

 

i bet you that is it.
