Has this been done in a newer L like 01+? if so what tranny did they put in it.

 

to my knowledge no, but its been discussed before. a T56 would probably be the tranny of choice... a local tuner of mine (Krazy Koncepts) said he was willing to do it but it probably wouldn't be less than 10,000 dollars to do...

The truck in the last page of the NLOC post is just about done with his Conversion. He needs to get the Computer tuned, custom stick built for the shifter, and get new carpeting for his truck and he will be done. He is still breaking in the clutch, but once the shifter is complete, we shall get some good pics/vids and let him post them.
