what's up with my 60' times?
Pretty much a stock truck, just filter, mufllers, ftvb. I cannot get below a 2.113 60' time. I've got 14 runs on it, 2 different nights, similar conditions... altitude about 2500', so so track prep, high humidity, stock F1s at 25 PSI. I am leaving from idle or within a 100 rpm or so. I am almost stomping the throttle and not spinning. I roll on the throttle quick. Seems to be hooking great but consistently pulling 2.11's. Runs 8.91-8.94 just about every time in the 1/8th. Even tried dropping spare, no real difference--what it gains after the 330 it loses in spinning hitting 2nd
Do you guys think I should just stomp it or am I dumping some boost or what!? Probably going to try spring clamps and pulling the front sway bar next time so looking for some input on such a stock setup. What kind of 1/8 times did you guys pull on stock setup. I see a lot of guys getting like 1.8 60s on F1s--- is that with filter, chip & pulley? I feel like the truck has 8.70s in it right now. I know, get drag radials (been there done that on other cars) but right now it is nice to not have to load up the tires, tools, jack, etc. Also looking for some true baselines before chip & pulley next spring.
