should i go with chip, cai, line lock? or chip, pully, K&N air filter with air box mod, line lock? is the line lock and the FTVB pretty similiar?

 

Go with a chip,filter,pulley combo from any of the three tuners.I prefer Sal from Powersurge Performance.He's done great by me so far.As for the linelock and ftvb being close,they are two different things.The linelock is used to lock your front brakes only so when doing a burnout you dont wear on your back brakes.The ftvb goes in you transmission and alters your shift pressure.I run the line mod valve which i've had no problems with and is very cheap to purchase and does the same thing.Some will differ. Enjoy the modding.

 

yeah thats what i meant - the line mod valve. this is a stupid question but im still in the "under 10 posts" category so it's alright to be stupid. when people say chip filter pulley, do they mean cold air intake? or just a K&N filter?

 

Go with the cold air intake.You'll actually see more boost and it sounds awsome too!

 

my first mod was a jlp ram air, and second was a factory tech valve body from chickenears. next came the diablo and the 5lb. that right there youll have yourself a mid to high 12 second truck. than the mod bug comes and you just keep modding and modding and modding.
