Well first off, I bought a whole bunch of parts of a buddy of mine and I changed out my 2# lower for a 4# lower. Along with that change I also removed my JDM flip chip and installed the predator program. Needless to say I had detonation at will. I removed the predator program and reinstalled the JDM chip but I still had some slight detonation at high rpm (thank you 91 octane). I decided to send off my chip to get reburned and ditch the predator but my question is should I leave the truck without the chip or put in a different predator program? Will I be safe driving the truck with the 4# pulley and the stock program?

I don't plan on racing it or anything but I would rather have the safest option while the chip is reburned.

You should be fine, I would try to stay out of the boost.

 

Right now im running an apten ported blower and a 4lb lower pulley, ive been running this way for a couple of months now, my truck runs great, no detonation at all, I do plan on getting a chip as soon as I have some extra money, so with your 4lb pulley you shouldn`t have any problems.
