Track Results-apten

Anyhow, got to the track tonight, mods in sig. Weather was 55ish, at capitol raceway, md. Crappy Track. No race gas on sale, so i had to use my 91 octane program, which i have just to be safe on the street.
Anyhow on this program, i got a best of
12.87 @ 105.7 w/ 1.81 60ft
thats w/ 28" hoosiers and truck traks.

i was slipping all over the place out of the hole and also on the shift to second. ALso my slicks spun about an inch to two inches on the rims. Overall i'm pretty happy with that at a crappy track, on the 91 octane program. I think when i step up to my race file and go to cecil i'll have much better results and hopefull some 1.7 60's. Oh, and maybe they'll have some freakin gas forsale there.

That's some good times. I had close to the same mods as you, and on my race tune only got 12.91@105 with a 1.86 60'. That was in 55-60 degree weather

Temperature makes a big difference.

Two weeks ago, I ran on F1's at Moroso in West Palm Beach, Florida, temperature was mid 70's, my best was 12.92 with a 1.92 60 ft time, best MPH that night was 106.39 with similar mods.

this was on my 91 octane program, slipping on launch, my slicks moved about an inch or 2 on launch. Slipping on the shift to second, where it was tapping the rev limiter only on the one-two shift. It sucked because with my predator, i just load the race program and install it when i arrive to the track, and i couldnt adjust my truck, due to the fact it woulda put the program in for 100 octane or whatever it is. This is only my second time on slicks, i wasn't shooting for big numbers, especially without the more aggressive tune, who knows what i left on the table running a 91 program instead of a 100.
