Stereo system is done (almost!) Pics!

After a couple of months of working at it little by little, the new Amp rack and subwoofer enclosure is in the truck. One Diamond Audio 10" sub in .65 cubic feet, powered by a Diamond Audio 600 Watt amp behind the passenger seat. 6 1/2" rear speakers and a 6 1/2" mid/tweeter set in the doors, powered by another Diamond Audio 400 watt amp behind the driver's seat. The box is wood and fiberglass, painted Sonic Blue to match the truck, and the trim above and on the sides is vinyl wrapped and color matched to the interior...exactly! Thanks to everyone who helped me find the right dye. I lost NO seat space on the driver side, and one notch on the passenger side, so that the center console would clear the sub when I raise it. Here are the pics, hope you like...

Help! How do I put the pics in the message, instead of just the links?

Very nice! How does it sound facing forward? I thought the optimal way to mount subs in a regular cab would be downfiring?

Downfiring would be optimal, but not in our trucks. There just isn't enough room to do it right. Now take a new 05 F150 "regular cab" or a Ram regular cab and you can do it with ease.

Of course, if you are 5' tall and your seat sits far forward, anything is possible.

Thanks guys! (Thanks Mike for loading my pictures right!) The paint is by Limco, any big body shop supply store should be able to mix it for you on the spot...the paint code for sonic blue is SN. FYI, I actually did two 8" subs firing downward in my last Lightning...it sounded good, but not as loud as this 10" does. It sounds pretty good considering that I haven't tuned it yet. The sub firing in through the bottom of the center console works well! Meat Bag, I have seen the pics of your system and I love it! I love Diamond's product line and especially thier customer service. I used to sell it when I worked at a car stereo shop - I have very few problems with it.
