He said "and the best price". You have the highest price.

badazz99l - If you really think they are worth the money, take a look at LFP for $69. He runs them for $59 a lot, so ask him for that price.

Call Mark @ LFP. He is $20 cheaper on his regular price.

Ruslow sells them too. I think his price is $55.

Thanks for the input guys. I've thought about making my own instead but haven't decided yet. Can't imagine it being that difficult. I know "a gain" from it is arguable but figure it shouldn't hurt and have an itch to do something minor right now so it fits the bill. Then again if I can find someone selling used traction bars then I may go that route and install a FTVB at the same time.

I know, just wanting to get him the info. A spacer is not one of those parts that demain a premium in my opinion. There are many parts that I would pay more for better quality or to support a favored vendor, but this is more a commodity piece.

well i reccomend that you buy one from one of the big name vendors (jdm, lfp, etc)

i bought one from a guy on NLOC who said he makes them himself, and only charged me like $40 for it...

well Jim from JDM was at my work one day and saw it and said... thats not good, its gonna leak... i thought he was just saying that so I would buy his LOL

anyway, guess what..... it did leak!!!

Have you ever felt the upper intake plenum on a Lightning after a pass with a spacer and with out? For such a cheap mod I think they are well worth it.

Not to stirr the pot any here, but there is a discussion about the Phenolic spacers. Do a search under "Eaton Carnage" either here or on Nloc. Apparently a hand full of people who have put one on, have had the blower case warp ever so slightly that causes the rotors to make contact.

As a matter of fact I have.... on MY truck. Minimal difference however there are a couple of points that are relevant to the discussion.

Alleged 'gains' on this enhancement are and have been debated until thread lockdown but that isn't the point of the reply.

So long as the EGR is recirculating hot gases back into the throttle body spacer (aka Plenum) it will be hot. Addressing the EGR is a seperate topic.

With the recent discoveries of rotors touching cases with phenolic installed, it boils down to... what is it really worth on an average truck, a daily driver, a non-race only vehicle?

Answer: Very little which lead to the brief comment above.

Bob

Hell Yes. and it was COOL to the touch. it wasn't hot, it wasn't warm it was cool.

Now:
Buy the material and make your own.

Make one for the intake, make one for the EGR tube.

Hell make one that goes between the S/C and the upper manifold!

If I had the material I would
