If you are looking for a spray bar direct port design, then don't waste your money. Fuel usually comes in one end and nitrous through the other. As you can guess the distribution is not great at all.

If you just want to tap your lower plenum with individual injectors, then you don't need an application specific kit. Just buy the injectors and distribuion blocks to feed them from however many solenoids you have.

That spray setup is sick. Does this forum allow polls? Maybe Rob02 could start a poll on how long his stock block willl last? Maybe forever!

How long it will last, or if he will be able to stop?

Rob, I hope you have those brakes working 100% full time now. Brakes aren't something you want to mess around with and find out at the wrong time they aren't working good enough. Good luck and be safe.

Maximizer

Is this control unit useable with a Zex system (replacing the Zex control box)?

Zex has the solenoids built into the box and the Maximiser is just a progressive unit, so you can't swap one for the other. Also the Zex solenoids will not handle the abuse of pulsing long and fail. We offer a Lifetime Warranty because our solenoids were designed to pulse in several ways.

1) Our coil can handle the strain and pulse consistently. Other solenoids are not designed to pulse and the bigger they are, the slower responding they are, which means unequal flow between the fuel and nitrous.

2) We have a matched plunger and seat so there is no wear like the other solenoids will suffer. Eventually other solenoids will need rebuilding and hopefully you'll catch it before they fail and ruin a motor.

Quick question:

Is the fuel AND nitrous pulsed in your progressive system or just the nitrous? Is this done with the Maximizer only or can the minimax also pulse the fuel? Thanks and keep up the good work

Both Solenoids Pulse, and YES
the Minmax Pulses them too

AMOF I'm going outside right now and doing the
swap over to the maximizer
NEWS AT 11....

EDIT

HOLY THATS ALMOST AS FAST AS SEX TO INSTALL BATMAN
@20 minutes soup to nuts, "WAM" ALL DONE
Of course it's working, I'm like a pro these days wiring a system up.

(schitt with sex I can leave the butt burning,
mount + release, and be back inside before the commercials over) and thats including foreplay, hehehehe....

Got to go install my New Chip, Switch, and Light
Then a trip to Sal's (and a test run for the Nitrous + Maximiser

To add to Rob's information. The minimax pulses the solenoids equally only. The Maximiser has options to pulse the solenoids at a different rate for various reasons or equally as the Minimax.

1) Delay the nitrous solenoid only to let the fuel catch up.
2) Keep the nitrous solenoid pulsing at the top end to energize the nitrous bottle. Everytime the nitrous solenoid closes, energy waves are sent back to energize the bottle and keep pressure from dropping as much.
