Had trouble stopping again at the Track, threw a Code ?
1. Disconnect the cruise control. (don't need your truck burning to the ground)
Then it's either:
1. Air in the brake line OR
2. Vacuum problem
Why? I'm thinking this is it because you never mentioned seeing fluid anywhere or leaking.
Or the other thing it could be is:
2. Leaking fluid somewhere.
3. Vacuum.

when i get on it hard for a few seconds then hit the brakes hard sometimes its like stepping on manual brakes . then right after it goes back to normal. maybe when we get on it some how there is less vacum going to the booster, just a guess ? what times did you run rob?

I posted about that 3 years ago! Everyone just dismissed it.
Go WOT then hit the brakes INSTANTLY! your brake will be VERY hard to push, until the vacuum returns to the brake system.
