Does anyone on here go and visit the other forums on this site? I was on one and noticed alot of threads about rust problems, interior squeaks, rear-ends going bad, windows leaking and so much other stuff that you never here being complained of on a Lightning. Other than the heads on the pre 2003 models, we really dont have many problems compared to the other guys. Does Ford put more time and effort into our trucks to make sure they are better quaulity than the other trucks? The reason for this thread was to just see if anyone else has noticed this, or is it just me?

Baby It Maybe a Little Too Much

My Lightning pretty much stays in the garage unless the sun is shinning. If its raining, I get out the 89 4x4, and the wet cherry wax for the Lightning. Don't think I have much in the way of rust to worry about. At least if I keep this routine up.

Logic emply's that 30k trucks compared to 1million trucks that the higher population will yeild more complaints. You might check out the other forums, Rock Pick and some of the others have some awesome techniques to get your truck shinny and protected, and some good Political threads pop up in General. But thats outside of the L forum, so might put on your safety equipment when going outside.
