VB install problems
Thanks SVTinVA I am glad that I am not the only to see a gasket. Thanks Greg for the info I know it won't be a problem. I will let you know how it goes in after all thoes ***** fall out of the seperator.
As I said in my other post for thoes who didn't see the gasket if you look at the 4th picture in the link I was refering to you can see a gasket. I don't know what it is made of but I will take pictures as I take it apart.

Just a note for people who are forced to remove the main control (the other valve body). It has two stages, and both have checkballs in them, but there is no need to sperate them to remove the main control. When you get to the M/C, on the "upper stage" remove the bolts one at a time, two are shorter than the rest and they hold the two stages together, put them back in and at least 4 or 5 of the checkballs (model dependent) will not be a problem. In the case itself, there are either 8 or 9 green rubber *****, one spring and one steel ball that will fall out, use vasoline to hold them in place when you put it back together.
Hope this helps,
G
(there is a diagram of where they go in my gallery)

I will tell you one thing that is easy to screw up on this install is to not pay attention to where the end of the dipstick is and catch the tip of it between the valve body and tranny and snap it off. Don't ask how I know this
It's plastic for some reason! So, always make sure that is out of the way.
