Wheel spacing info

What is the stud spacing for Lightning/f150 rims? I am looking to buy a set of wheels and need to know the stud spacing and what backspace would be good. Is 16x12 too wide of a wheel for the front and rear?

Thanks, Justin

EDIT:
I guess I should have said bolt pattern not stud spacing.

One more edit, what is a good slick for a 16x10 rim?

bolt pattern is 5x135 or 5x5.5 approximately... 16x12 i'm pretty sure is too wide for the front.... maybe 2 wide for the rear, depends on backspacing i suppose. slicks there are several options you should look at based on power levels (which should determien size) closer to stock you'd want A 26" tire, then step up to 28 and then 30 for the fully built trucks. i'm no tire expert though. but some of your options are M/T et streets, Hoosier QTPs... thats all that comes to mind right now. someone else can chime in hopefully on pros/cons of the different slicks.

5x135 is correct however it is closer to 5 on 5" than 5.5"..not that that is even relevent???

16x12 would be too wide for the front, and depending on the tire choice, would stick out beyond the fender in the rear, even with proper backspace. It really depends on the tire width whether or not it will stick out or rub etc.. The 12" wide rim is ok with aprox. 5" backspace, but you wouldn't want a tire wider than 13 SW.
