Safe without tune?

Safe without tune?
I have to have my truck back together by tomorrow night. Will I be safe with a ported apten and a 4# pulley without a tune? I am awaiting the arrival of my SCT flasher, hopefully by the end of the week, so I can have a custom tune installed(would have been nice to be informed they were out of flashers when I ordered 
).
Truck will be babied until I get a tune but will I be safe without it for a few days? I would think I will be okay as long as I stay out of boost.

I am in the exact same situation. Supercharger will be back in tomorrow and I have never got my SCT Tuner I ordered. Who did you order your tuner from?

You can drive it like that but you can not go to wide open trottle!
If you hear detonation at any point then do not run it like that!
Detenation is normaly the paint cand sound. It also comes in the form of a little bogging or hesitaion.

WARNING, this is my personal experience
I ran my stock tune with an Apten, 4lb lower, and 2.8" upper. I have a Wideband Commander and could watch the A/F. I was running about 12.0-12.5 at WOT with the stock computer.
If you don't go WOT you will be perfectly fine.
BTW, I used the predator pulley tune with that combo shortly after that, and it dropped my A/F to 11.0-11.5 and was an absolute beast at WOT. My custom tune has me at 11.7-11.9 A/F with 17deg timing. Haven't dyno'd yet but I ran 108MPH in air that was a DA of 1666 feet.

I have an apten ported blower and a 4lb lower on my truck, at this time I don`t have a chip in my truck, I havn`t had any problems at all, I have done many WOT runs on the freeway with out any detonation or problems at all, you should be fine, I do plan on getting a chip just as soon as funds allow...
