I know the feeling ALL to well. I really don't have much since I am going thru the same thing but will help in anyway I can. I wasn't around when Superfords needed help either and that bothers me. Maybe I can help him with a tranny or something to make up for. But I feel both of their pain so very much so I will help in whatever way I can. Just let me know. -Mat-

I'll shoot him an e-mail.

It's just sometimes we get caught up with the little things that go wrong with our trucks (I did this summer @#$%) and we tend to blow it out of proportion. Like I said before, if I were Suavy I'd have given up a LONG time ago.

He's bent over backwards to help me out, when I neded it. When I finally sat down one day and figured out all he's gone through with his truck and the happy, positive attitude he always has, it kinda made me think a little bit. Maybe it's not all that bad. He's gone through hell with his truck and still has a positive attitude.

I remember he was wrenching on my truck one day this summer, and it was CRAZY hot and humid. I was supposed to be there early, but overslept and got there around 11am.
I didn't know until we (girlfriend and I) we ready to go that he had a family barbeque or something that afternoon at his house. He never mentioned it to me, or tried to hurry me out of there. Infact he asked if I wanted to stay, but my GF wanted to go shopping. so....shopping it was.

To all my lightning family!

First, let me say thank you all for your kind words! One of Maslow's 5 basic needs of higherarcy is to belong!
Today I know I belong!

Second, it has been a tuff road but I keep plugging away! As far as patients, my truck and my children have taught me that! I am a God fearing person so I look to him for strength and guidance.

With that said back to my truck…
I acquired a set of used heads from a customer of mine. They have about 45K on them but are in need of porting and I have to get the 1MM oversized valves cut in them. I did a motor swap for him the beginning of this year and the heads became part of the deal.

Frank, if you could get me some more info that would be helpful. Also if you'r guy could use the replacement heads I have, that would save me a tone of money.

Thank you all, I don't know what else to say but
I'll keep you all posted on what comes up from the porter.

Peace,

Suavy

As was mentioned a while back in Superfords engine of dome! I knew what I was getting into when I started racing and encountered many obstacles, as do many of you.

I appreciate your kind words Mark and the total gesture but do not want to be considered a charity case!

Respectfully,

Jeronimo (Suavy)

Your response tells me more about you than anything else posted, let me know if I can help out in any way.

Just a quick update for you all, Frank 5L has a machine shop that he is talking with that can port my back up set of heads. I'm not sure what the cost will be yet.

I just wanted to let everyone know what was going on.

Thanks again everyone for all your support and kind words.

Peace,

Suavy
