Question Adding temp gauge for intercooler

Just registered and this is my first post,
I want to add a temp gauge for my intercooler so I can monitor the tempurature in different driving conditions, has any one ever done one of these, and if so how? I know you need to add the tempurature sensor and I was thinking about installing mine in the coolant resivor for the intercooler, but of course it's plastic and I'm a bit leary about leaks, any suggestions?

I installed a 1/8" NPT temp sender right beside the inlet to the reservoir on the right side. The plastic wall is thick enough for the thread, though it's a tight fit, but it works. I thought about other locations but I wanted to be sure that the temp sender was close to the coolant coming directly from the intercooler.

Don't forget you have to ground the sender case with a seperate wire since the reservoir is plastic.
