My tuner told me below 50deg. I should switch to my winter pgm. which drops 2deg off timing.

I would have to agree... My L has been fine untill last night when temps droped to 47*-50* and I started to get some major pinging. I called today to get a winter tune ( - 2* ) for my L.
I'm pretty impressed though..I'm running 18* of timing and it held off pinging untill the temps hit 50* or lower. My winter tune will be 16*...LOL
