well....im pretty sure i found the oil leak!!! turns out the oil dipstick did not get replaced correctly, i though my buddy put it back in ( we had to remove it for some fitting issues) he swares he put it back...so im guessing that is where the oil is comming from, and its def. engine oil...blackish/green color...the truck will start and idle, and i can put it into Drive and just roll..and it moves just fine...but once the gas is pressed....nothing but violent shaking and studdering...i looked at the 02's and they looked fine to me...but then again im not to sure what im looking for...they are all in tact and not black or burnt looking..i need to get an engine code scanner and run the code and see what comes up...but the truck isnt driveable right now..any idea where i could get one? or rent one???

If you look under your hood its the fuse all the way towards the front of the truck on the drivers side. You can look in the owners manual and it will say tranny fuse. You can replace the fuse and it will make the truck start and run like normal until you give it any gas again and it will blow the fuse once again. I would check the O2's around the head shields, my truck melted the wires from the passenger side rear O2 right to the heat sheild. I hope this helps.
posted from NLOC this makes alot of sense...im going out to check it right now....if its right..how do i go about positioning the o2's so they dont keep going bad??

Leo,
When I fitted mine I made sure to cut a nice "BIG" hole in the heatshields around the O2s, that stuff is hard to cut. I would think that when you get on it a bit the engine torques and moved the exhaust and sensor a little. This makes the sensor touch the heatshield and blow.

Great that you found the problem.
