How do I get the front brake pads off??
How do I get the front brake pads off??
I loosened the two hex bolts. Do I aslo have to take off the 2 larger 18mm bolts as well?
If so I can seem to budge them off or gat a good enough of an angle to get them off. Maybe I only need to take off the 2 hex bolts but I can figure it out?
Anyone with suggestions or has done it?
or reccomend a certain tool for the 18mm bolts

Two small bolts, one above the bleeder and one below
on the Caliper need to be removed. Then the top of the Caliper
will just tilt back (release the pressure by using a screwdriver
against (between) the forked end of the pad attachment
and the rotor, (Don't pry the pad material unless it's junk),
pushing the piston back into the caliper.
No need to undo the brake lines or anything ... After
the first time it's a ten minute job at most.
Have fun ...
Learn lots ... I have
Try BRAKE PAD REPLACEMENT in the SEARCH function ...
