Cobra R is badass! Lightning related sorta

My best sista friend I met since i've moved to IN is part owner of a 2000 Cobra R.

She was kind enough to give me a ride around and pose for pics

To keep this Lightning related heres a pic with my truck in her driveway.

[My L, Red Cobra R, black 99 cobra (hers)]

[The Cobra R with her owner Susie! my bestest buddy ]

she rides like a beauty and traction is goegrous on 275's, makes me want to get rid of my toyos.

the exhaust sounds badass.,

Notice the toe on the front wheels, I bet it goes thru tires quick.

She/her pics are everywhere. Doesn't her husband or bf own the R?

those cars are friggin' awesome.

they get a bad rap because they cost alot and the '03 cobra came out later with similar performance for alot less, but still, these cars were first.

naturally aspirated, 5.4dohc, and what 380 or something hp!

I had an opportunity to drive one once as well.

my buddy Mark at www.performanceautosport.com owned one for a while.

it was a blast to drive. lots of torque!!!

later,
chris

recall seeing her pics all over the net with her pimpy lil dodge neons, and she recently got the R back in clean condition after a little accident that took out the hood, radiator & front bumper +chin spoiler.

Yeah, F'n Deer!

Looks pretty good to me now though! (The car too!)

I know my R doesn't have as much HP as the 00 R's, but it's got the Torque! Damn things are a blast to drive! I just had mine out last weekend and put a quick 15 miles on it (Now the odo reads 1,008). At times I really consider selling it because it sits so much, but all it takes is a short drive and I'm wanting more!

I suppose for the right price I'd sell. Otherwise it'll be waiting for me, garaged and covered, until next time I take it out.

They were badazz cars 00R, my first dealer had one for $56,000.00 they, couldn't sell it so they took it to auction for $62,000.00 and got it. somebody took it for a joyride and crashed the rear spoiler and the rotors were chewed up too, so nobody would buy it at dealer.

Badass, I agree. Ive seen some clean ones, that have been driven 6-8000 miles, go in low 40's on eBay recently. I'm tempted. If I had mad money, would love to get one, slap a turbo on that 5.8L, and my, oh my....................

It's a 5.4L, the same as our engine but with better heads.
