Right now lets forget about your ETs. 80mph & 97mph, that much pulley, and a tune? Houston we have a problem! You ought to be seeing 84+ in the 1/8th and 105+ in the 1/4.

What boost psi are you seeing?

As Rich and By By Said, DEF TUNING ISSUE.........

My guess, YOU NEED MORE TIMING
I found low Timing resulted in low MPH for me too when I first chipped mine way back when. Same combo 4+2 and I was stuck in the 13's too (almost my entire first season) Last race of that fall, I got re-tuned by RWTD, took the upper off, went out and ran a 12.8, then multi 12.7's and more 12.8's the next season.

Get a new tune and ask for a min of 16 degrees of timing,
if you have a multi chip get a 16 degree tune, and a 18-19 degree race tune "for running high Octane"

Do you know any of the setting in your Chip now,
Shift Points, Timing, A/F, etc ? Don't sweat it Bro, THE POWER IS THERE, YOU HAVE THE CORRECT MODS, you just seem to have a very safe tune that prob has too low of timing, (been there done that)

I BET YOU HAD FUN ANYWAY THOUGH, CONGRATS

Maybe your supercharger belt is slipping due to the upper smaller pulley and you're loosing boost, get it dynoed and see where you're at as far as HP, Torque and air/fuel mix.

hmm

with your setup, you should be running 12's even in the heat. Minimum of low 13's. Your short time isn't great but your mph is WAY off. Have you dyno'ed to get an a/f number???

Also, if you wanna head over to www.nloc.net, local chapters, then to NELO, you can hook up with a bunch of us local guys. Good group and we're always helping each other out.

If you want to check your tune on the dyno, a few of us South shore boys go to MPE racing in Taunton. I'll be going soon to check out my newest tune. Let me know if you want to meet up... maybe we can help.

I've got a 2000 with a 4# lower, JLP intake, Bassani headers and exhaust, custom predator tune, TR6's and traction bars. The damn thing only runs 13.6 @ 102 mph! But i cut a 2.0 60'er. Do you guys think that i'd also benefit from a good dyno tune? Sure would like to see the same results as you guys. For some reason i seem to have gotten the slowest L built in 2000!

i spit my beer all over, i dunno why

but yeah your mph is definately down, and like others said, belt slip or more likely just the tune. My suggestion would be quit fretting yourself and just take it to a reputable local tuner and let them solve the issue for you. You'll spend forever and a day if you just try fixing things one at a time until you fix the issue. Plus a good dyno tune in itself is well worth the money.

bad times also

I have 4 lower, 2.8 upper, JLP tune, FTVB, Nitto Drag radials and am only running 13.5 @ 100 here in Texas. I am pretty pissed off knowing that I should be running in the 12's or atleast really low 13's with these mods. My 60ft's are 2.0 and 2.1's, needless to say im not a very happy camper.

Well it seems that alot of people are having the same problem that I was having before I left for Korea. I took my 2000L to the track fresh off of a dyno tune earlier that day. I've got 6lb, TR6, JLVB, metco idler kit 95mm MAF and a few other nick nacks. I ran a 13.5 (best of the night). I talked to my tuner and he said nothing was wrong with the tune, it was traction problems. I was running no traction bars and F1's. Oh and about my dyno numbers they were 389hp and 511tq on a mustang dyno. So try out some slicks or nittos maybe that will work for you.
