Anyone using Hoosier R3S04s?

I am looking for road course tires and am currently investigating the Hoosier R3S04s. Does anyone have any experience with them? How many events will they last? What size is the best for stock wheels? (275-35s, 285-35s, or 305-30s)

Thanks,
Dan

I am running the 305's and am quite happy with the
performance, but not the longetivity. The Hoosier
engineers in South Bend laughed when I complained
about the tire belts breaking after one day of racing.
This has happened twice. I think the load rating is a bit
on the low side for our bricks. I ran F1 GS/CS with
good results, and I am thinking of trying the V710's
if they come in our size.

The Hoosier's I ran where from a fella that gets scuffs
down in Texas, so maybe brand new ones would be
different. The ones I have gotten LOOK brand new,
though. $100 / tire is better than $293 for the F1's

Good luck ...

Cliff,

Were you running the S04's or S03's? I didn't know that Rene had any S04's yet.
