My drivers side tire is very warn on inside edge.... tire is not that old......I am inquiring to David Lynn about "the washers".
How many 99 L have replaced the factory washers? Furthermore
did you need to change/fix your cam bolts? My alignment shop said they can not align the truck as is... Thanks

Yes, you need the washers AND cam bolts to do it right. I had the star washers installed by the dealer per the TSB, but they didn't hold. I ground off the insides of my tires, too. Now, as long as I keep the steering stops greased, it's good.
BTW - check your ball joints and tie rod ends, mine had to be replaced the last time it was aligned. Also, make sure they use 'Lightning Owner Prefered Specifications' when they align it, mine stopped wandering on grooved asphalt after I did.

I took my truck to a normal Ford Delear (not SVT) to get it aligned but they said they cant do it because the wheels are too big. Does anyone know if SVT Dealers can do it. So the next place I took it to quoted me for about 200 dollars for the Cam-kit, install and align.
