intake tube and spacer users

intake tube and spacer users
i want to buy sometime of intake tube like the rem one or thunder pipe.but the problem is i am installing a phenolic spacer also. is anybody running some type of tube with a phen.spacer??

REM tube:
w/ JDM phenolic spacer (painted sonic blue):
I have heard of issues with the rubber grommets failing on the rem tube, and there is nothing to support the filter end of the tube, but I think it looks good, and I haven't had any issues so far, but I've only had it on the truck for a few thousand miles.
of course the jury is still out on the phenolic spacer, but I don't have any issues running the two together.
